Now, the tables have turned as details of their mercurial relationship hit the press. These days, it's Humphries in the hot seat. He's been accused of hurling homophobic remarks at her best friend, Jonathan Cheban -- who, by the way, is straight -- and now the cover of Us claims Kris is the "husband from hell."
The mag says that while Humphries is unemployed due to the NBA lockout, he spent his married days taking full advantage of Kardashian's fame -- demanding freebies and bottle service as he stayed out late at clubs in NYC and Los Angeles.
"He belittled her in front of people," one source says. "He'd call her stupid. It was truly sickening." He also referred to her as "fatass" and said "she had no talent and her fame wouldn't last."
Ouch.
While we saw some of his incessant mocking of her family on their wedding special, word is that it only got worse after they were hitched, until Kim just couldn't take it anymore.
Suffice to say, we can't wait for the Sunday premiere of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York." Can't. Wait.
